At the heart of our practice is Dr. Priscilla Chan, a dedicated pediatric dentist whose passion for dentistry shines through in every aspect of her work.
About Dr. Priscilla Chan, D.D.S.
Dr. Chan grew up in the northeast, splitting time between New York City and New Jersey. She didn't see a dentist until she was seven years old, and unsurprisingly had many cavities that needed to be fixed! After many crowns, fillings, and traumatizing appointments, Dr. Chan dreaded going to the dentist until she met her pediatric dentist. He changed her perspective on dental visits and left such a positive impression on her that she became inspired to be a dentist herself.
Having experienced unpleasant dental visits due to a lack of awareness about good oral health, Dr. Chan is dedicated to educating both patients and parents on the importance of preventive care. She aims to create a calm and gentle dental home where children can develop healthy oral habits for a lifetime of dental health and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Chan graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University with a degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience, and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Columbia University. She continued to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Columbia University- New York Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. She continues her commitment to learning and providing the best care possible by taking education courses routinely, and has a particular passion for laser dentistry.
When not in the office, Dr. Chan enjoys spending time with her husband and two rescue pets, riding horses, catching up with friends and family, and exploring the world.
